Sun Colors!

Hello!  Hurray it's the first day of spring and it's going to be beautiful here today.  Our trees and shrubs are starting to bud out.

I'm working up some new crocheted granny squares which I hope to donate to a special sunshine blanket project (read about here).
These represent the colors of a sunrise and/or setting in our skies - from the yellows to pinks, to orange and finally to red.

This reminds me of the old sailor's saying:

"Red Sky at night, sailor's delight.  Red sky in the morning, sailor take warning."

  4. Gee Sandy they are great and really fit so well with Sue's theme. I can't believe the terrific variety of squares that everyone is making. Such creativity this scheme has brought out.
My tablecloth is sewn on a machine. The hexagon one I have on the go will be completely hand sewn but it is definitely a WIP.
    Cheers
